Towpath Community Press
Towpath Community Press was founded in 1997. Its aim is to encourage creative writing among individuals and groups and to encourage new and established writers to work towards seeing their work in print. It is a non profit publishing facility available to those who live, work, or have a cultural involvement within Wigan Borough. Proceeds from books finance the next book on the list.
Members share skills and enthusiasm in producing the books and membership of Towpath offers practical experience in all aspects of publishing including editing, typesetting, proof reading, artwork, promotion and sales.
Meetings are on alternate Thursdays at the Pear Tree, Frog Lane, Wigan at 7-0 for 7-30 p.m. If you would like more information or are interested in becoming a member please write, telephone or e-mail the address below.
